Joy Patricia Halili Landers

Celebration of Life for Joy, Here is a Story Submited by her Family. Let's Be sure to light a candle in support of her family. 

Joy Patricia Halili Landers was three months premature. Joy was born early due complications with pre-eclampsia and placental abruption. She was born at 8:34 am Friday July 8, 2022. Once Joy was born she cried, was cleaned up and once she was stablized  in the NICU. Doctors  prepared to transport her to Rady's Children Hospital in San Diego due to being a top tier NICU. Joy was resilent with weekly labs being normal until she developed a stomach infection and needed surgery; due to the results of surgery 3/4 of Joy's intestines were dead. The doctors recommended that due to the circumstances, we as parents would have to prepare for the worst. Hours after the surgery Joy coded and the doctor could not revive her.Joy lived 27 beautiful days.
