Legacy of Love Volunteer Workshop

The Legacy of Love Volunteer Workshop is designed to equip and inspire volunteers to serve as compassionate extensions of Our Journee Home’s (OJH) Christ-centered mission. Through this interactive session, participants will deepen their understanding of how their unique gifts and roles contribute to OJH’s vision of glorifying God by bringing comfort, hope, and healing to grieving families. This workshop will cover: Understanding the Mission: Explore OJH’s faith-based mission, vision, and core values, and learn how every volunteer effort reflects the love of Jesus. Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities: Gain clarity on specific ways to serve, from assembling comfort boxes to social media engagement, and supporting events and outreach initiatives. Grief Sensitivity Training: Learn how to approach grieving families with empathy, grace, and Christ-like compassion. Practical and Spiritual Tools: Be equipped with actionable steps, Scripture-based encouragement, and best practices for impactful service. Team Building and Inspiration: Connect with fellow volunteers, share ideas, and be inspired by real-life stories of hope and healing. By the end of this workshop, volunteers will feel empowered, spiritually grounded, and prepared to reflect God’s love in every aspect of their service. Together, we’ll build a lasting legacy of love, transforming grief into healing and bringing glory to God.
